Do you just love that restaurant style coleslaw? Well, this is definitely a wonderful version of it; however this one is homemade!
I made this coleslaw to go with our fish dinner; however, I think this may be a staple at cookouts from now on! This recipe was adapted from the Sweet Slaw on All Recipes.
Enjoy!

Sweet Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 1 Bag Coleslaw Mix
- 2/3 Cup Mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tbsp White Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup White Sugar
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1/4 Cup Sweet Dill Relish
Instructions
- Simply mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover the bowl and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours. I thought this was the perfect balance of sweetness; however, if you like it to be more sweet increase the sugar.

I really love cole slaw, but I always add black pepper to mine! Thanks for sharing your recipe!
I made this for dinner tonight. I love relish as a secret ingredient for sweetening and crunching up a dish. If I put relish on the table, no one but me eats it. But if i sneak it into tuna salad or like this coleslaw, it’ll sure to be a hit. I only put 1 tbsp veg oil and next time I’ll probably omit sugar altogether cause I think the relish sweetens it enough I kept eating it out of the bowl after mixing, it’s so good! Thanks Kristy for sharing.
Been looking for the perfect dressing and I found it. Thank you for sharing!!!
