Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient Apple Cinnamon Chicken is a delicious way to do dinner!
As we head both into fall and into back to school activities, life gets busy. I think that applies to almost all of us regardless of what activities we have going on. For us, we are heading into flag football season for our son, which will take up the end of the week on top of school activities too.
It’s just a busy season. I love every minute of it, but I also need some easy meals to make dinner a breeze too. One recipe I am just loving lately is this Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient Apple Cinnamon Chicken. I’m sure the name gives away the ingredients right? Chicken, Apples, and Cinnamon…that’s it!
I like to use chicken thighs for this dish because they are a bit more fatty than chicken breast. That means that the juices from the chicken are really all you need without adding additional broth. I simply sprayed the slow cooker, placed the chicken in, topped it with sliced apples, and a dash of cinnamon. Then, I added the lid and set it on low for 8 hours. The house smelled amazing, and we had a delicious dinner waiting on us.
We paired ours with the apples and then a few slices of bread and veggies. The chicken just falls right off the bone, so it’s very simple to prepare and juicy. If you have extra, you can even freeze it for other meals throughout the month like chicken and rice.
Are you ready for this easy chicken? Time for dinner!

Stumbled across you apple/cinnamon chicken recipe (added a tablespoon of honey to it) just put it all together in the crock pot! Now we wait….
I’m I’m glad I found this again. Love the taste. We have it with rice or potatoes and a veggie. Really quick and easy. Put things in slow cooker before I leave for work. Ready when I get back. House smells so nice.
