These Baked Vanilla Doughnuts may not be extremely healthy; however, in comparison to their fried doughnut friends…they are.
Even if you are eating healthy, there are days when you need to splurge or for me that happens daily! These are a good alternative if you are craving that fried doughnut.
A good way to keep the fat low is to use a light butter or organic butter such as Melt Butter. To keep the sugar low, use Splenda as opposed to regular sugar. As far as the glaze and sprinkles, you could do a cinnamon sugar glaze. To do this simply melt a little bit of butter on top, which you would be using the low fat butter. Next combine ground cinnamon with Splenda, then sprinkle it on top.
Feed your craving for doughnuts with Baked Vanilla Doughnuts and a healthier twist.
