Enjoy the holidays and be party ready with this Holiday Hot Chocolate Bar!
As we plan out the holidays each year, parties are always at the top of our list. One in particular is my daughter’s birthday party, it’s wedged right in between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
In the past we have grown fond of ALWAYS having a Holiday Hot Chocolate Bar for her birthday.
It works out well, since it’s around the holidays and it’s typically a bit chilly.
I love that I can quickly setup a hot chocolate bar and guests love it, even the kids.
How to create a Holiday Hot Chocolate Bar?
Now, this year I felt on top of the world because I got a head start and prepared it with to-go cups.
I did this so that all our guests could easily take it to go with them or carry it outside as we moved around from activity to activity.
I really felt like as a parent I was crushing it with this party win! I mean that in a good way because EVERYONE seems to love hot chocolate.
I never have any complaints and the kids love to build their hot chocolate too with all sorts of treats inside their cups.
The best part of course is the treats to go in the hot chocolate or to be paired with it!
Grab a cup and then fill it up!
I typically will prepare this by warming up chocolate milk in a slow cooker, that way it’s easy to pour into each cup and easy to keep warm.
The win for me is that there was very little clean up!
I didn’t have to do dishes and can spend my time with family and friends too.
We decided to add all sorts of fun items to our hot chocolate bar including Gingerbread Cookies and Chocolate Covered Marshmallows too!
My kids of course just loved that they got to use cups like mommy and daddy and add sweet treats inside.
We do lots of hot chocolate bars for parties throughout the holidays.
What types of parties do you host throughout the holidays? Do you enjoy doing a hot chocolate bar too?
