Make the BEST Gluten-Free No Bake Oreo Pudding Pie in minutes, perfect for serving any time of the year!
Oreo Pudding Pie is one of my all-time favorite desserts because it is so simple and easy to make gluten-free. It can be done with just a few ingredients including the latest Gluten-Free Oreos.
This recipe is also great to make ahead and store in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve it for a party or dessert.
Which Gluten-Free Pie Crust should you use?
First, you will want to use Gluten-Free Oreos for this recipe or a chocolate cookie alternative. Walmart has a gluten-free brand of chocolate cookies as well.
Along with this, you will need to use a gluten-free chocolate pie shell OR you can also use crushed gluten-free Oreo cookies and press the crushed cookies into a pie pan. If you do this last method it will make a great Oreo Cookie Crust that crumbles right into the pudding when serving.
I normally take the easy route and use this Mi-Del Chocolate Pie Crust. It can be left right in the aluminum pan.
If you prefer completely homemade, here is a Gluten-Free Chocolate Pie Shell recipe.
Which type of pudding should you use?
This recipe can be done with either Cook and Serve Pudding or Instant Pudding. I like to use Instant Pudding just to avoid any use of the stove, it makes it easy for kids to help with too.
I have found that off-brand puddings can be cross-contaminated, so I would stick with the Jell-O Brand or a brand you trust and know is gluten-free.
What do you need for Oreo Pudding Pie?
- Chocolate Pudding
- Milk
- Chocolate Pie Shell
- Chocolate Cream Filled Cookies or Gluten-Free Oreos
- Cool Whip or Whipped Cream
- Sugar
- Cream Cheese
The topping will be a combination of whipped topping, cream cheese, and sugar mixed into a great cold, cream cheese frosting.
Tips for Making No-Bake Oreo Pudding Pie:
This delicious Gluten Free Oreo Pie will be made completely and then stored in the fridge for 2-3 hours or until you are ready to serve it. It is best served chilled and should stay that way until ready to serve.
The cookies will be crushed to make fine crumbs, these cookie crumbs will be used to mix into the pudding and also to top the pie with.
The full instructions for this easy recipe will be listed below in the recipe card.
How do you store leftovers?
The leftovers can be stored in an airtight storage container in the fridge for up to 4 days. These are easy to serve right out of the container as each slice is best served cold and chilled.
Are you ready for the perfect dessert? This is sure to be a hit at your house!
