As we head back to school, my kids are both going to new schools and both of these schools ask for Box Tops regularly! Have you clipped Box Tops before? I’ll admit I have in the past, but I really have not kept up with it as I should.
At my son’s school though the stakes are high, they even have competitions between grades to see which grade brings in the most Box Tops. That means, I have to get my game face on and start clipping those Box Tops. Right now, you can actually get BONUS Box Tops at Walmart on many products.
These are products that we buy regularly anyway, so I may as well score some Bonus Box Tops with them too.
Box Tops are worth $.10 per top for your child’s school. This means if you have several kids in the school, that dime can add up fast. Once they are cashed in, your school can purchase any items they may need in relation to the needs of the school. Right now, Box Tops is one of America’s largest school earning programs with over 80,000 schools that participate.
My son was so anxious to load them up in our cart and clip them to take to school. We are starting a collection and researching different products we can purchase with box tops that I can use in various recipes.
If your school does not collect Box Tops, you can start it up yourself, I’m sure your school will be more than happy that you have initiated a Box Top program within their school. I know at my daughter’s school they actually had enough Box Top funds to put in a whole new playground that the kids LOVE. It’s a wonderful playground and that was all done with parents bringing in their Box Tops. The sky is the limit with what schools can do with the funds to help the students.
Are you ready to participate? It’s time to start clipping those tops!
