Begin by rolling out the pizza dough into a round circle about 9 inches in size. Use a lightly floured surface and add additional flour if needed to avoid sticking.
Once this is rolled out coat half the circle with marinara or pizza sauce, leaving the other half empty.
Once coated, top with pepperoni or your toppings of choice.
Add the sliced layers of cheese.
In a small bowl combine the parmesan, Italian Seasoning, and garlic powder.
Sprinkle about 3/4 of the mixture on top of the cheese.
Carefully fold over the empty side of the pizza on top of the prepared side until the ends touch. Seal or crimpe the edges with a fork, this should create a semi-circle.
Use the egg and a brush and carefully brush the edges of the pizza, if you prefer you can brush the entire top of the pizza.
Once brushed, add the remaining cheese and seasoning mixture on top of the pizza.
Sprinkle a little kosher salt on top and then add a coat of olive oil spray.
Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
Cool for 5 minutes and then cut into strips to serve.
