Pizza Sauce

Ground Italian Sausage, Cooked and Crumbled

Instructions
Preheat the smoker or pellet grill to 450*F.
Cook the sausage on the stovetop until no pink remains if you are going to use it as a topping.
Lightly coat a stone with cornmeal to keep it from sticking.
Roll and stretch the pizza dough into a circle large enough to cover the baking stone.
Add pizza sauce and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
Add any additional toppings that you like.
Add another layer of mozzarella cheese and the parmesan cheese.
Place the pizza that is on the stone into the smoker, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is browned and bubbly.
Remove from smoker and allow a few minutes to cool at room temperature before slicing and serving.
Notes
Nutritional information will vary depending on toppings that are used.
Cherry or Apple wood chips work best for this.
