1Jar Pizza Sauce
Additional Flour
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Vegetable Oil for Grill
Toppings:
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Ground Italian SausageCooked & Drained
Pepperoni
Tomatoes
Herbs
Other Toppings of ChoiceOlives, Oregano, Basil, Ham, Chicken, Mushrooms, Etc.
Instructions
Prepare the sauce and toppings and set aside.
Roll out the pizza dough into a thin rectangle using a small dusting of extra flour so the dough does not stick. Place the dough on a large baking sheet.
Coat the grates with vegetable oil using a folded paper towel.
Heat the grill to medium-high heat.
Slide the pizza dough onto the heated grates.
Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bottom is lightly browned.
Flip the pizza over and brush with olive oil.
Spread the sauce on top, along with the cheese, and toppings of your choice.
Close the lid and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the toppings are lightly browned.
Remove from the grill and transfer to a cutting board.
Add the fresh herbs and additional parmesan cheese if preferred.
