Prepare the pie as instructed on the package and let fully cool. Note - if there is a topping, add it once the pie is in the mason jar.
Carefully cut and shape the pie to fit in the mason jars. At this point you can add the topping and bake or you can simply add the topping and seal the jars if it does not need baking.
Seal the jar with fabric if preferred.
Print the recipe card and tie it to the jar with twine.
