Spray a cast iron skillet with nonstick cooking spray, and warm up on medium-high heat.
While the skillet is warming, butter both sides of the toast, then cut out the shape you would like, in this case a heart with a cookie cutter.
Place the toast in the warmed skillet and let it cook for about 1-2 minutes on one side, then flip the toast. At this point, you could add as many slices of bread as you can fit in the skillet.
Place a cracked egg in the center of each piece and let it cook until nearly done on the bottom and bubbly.
At this point when the egg is nearly cooked, place the entire skillet carefully into the oven and turn it on low broil.
Let it broil for about 2-4 minutes watching carefully so it does not burn.
Once it is done, carefully remove the skillet and place back on medium-high heat, removing the cooked eggs in a basket to a plate.
Spray the skillet again if needed with the cooking spray, place the center cut out pieces of the bread on the skillet and lightly toast on each side.
