Yams or Sweet Potatoes (Peeled and Sliced into 1/2-inch thick slices.)

Light Brown Sugar (Packed)

Granulated Sugar

Ground Cinnamon

Ground Nutmeg

Vanilla Extract

Orange Juice (See Note)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375*F.
Spray a 13x9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Evenly lay the peeled and sliced sweet potatoes or yams into the baking dish.
In a small saucepan, add butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
Cook over medium heat, stirring often until the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat, and stir in the cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and orange juice until well combined.
Evenly pour over the yams and stir gently to coat them evenly.
Bake for 30-40 minutes until they are tender.
Notes
If glaze is too thick, add additional orange juice.
