Steel Cut Oats

Baked Oats:
Soaked Oats
1/4
Cup
Brown Sugar
2
Tsp
Baking Powder
1
Tsp
Salt
1
Tsp
Cinnamon
Additional for Topping

Eggs
1
Cup
Milk
1
Diced Gala Apple
1/4
Cup
Currants or Raisins
Instructions
The night before, pour the water over the oats in a bowl, then let them soak overnight so that they are soft.
To bake the oats, preheat the oven to 350*.
Combine the oats, sugar, powder, salt, cinnamon, eggs, milk, apples, and currants in a large bowl and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
Top with additional cinnamon.
Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until nicely browned on top.
Serve with warm milk in the bowl or as is.
