Get ready for the first menu of October! Fall has finally arrived and so have fall foods!
We are already a week into October and I really need this month to SLOW DOWN! We love October, it’s the perfect time for all my favorite things.
The only problem? It always seems to go by so quickly. We are almost done with football too and I feel like we’ve hardly had any games yet…isn’t it crazy how quick time flies?
I am noticing more and more just how quickly the years go by as my kids get older. I saw some baby pictures of my daughter recently and it’s like a blur.
I can hardly remember when she was a baby and that just made me so sad! I feel like when kids are babies, it’s sometimes more about survival. I know that’s definitely how I felt with my son.
He was the first and had so many eating issues and then to top it off we literally had no idea what we are doing, so it was constantly trying new things and if that didn’t work trying something else.
Then, suddenly another baby comes along and I had days where I couldn’t remember where I was when I woke up. Which room was I in? I had this new baby, plus another child and it was just one big blur…
Of course, then you blink and suddenly they are both in school and you have free time. Who would have ever thought that would come back around again? I’m still trying to cope with figuring out what exactly I want to do.
It’s been a long time since I stopped and thought about that.

All that to say…be sure to treasure those moments because even those it’s cliche to say, they really do go by more quickly than you would think.
That leads me to all the fall food…or maybe it doesn’t, but that is where we are going.
The menu for the week consists of some fall favorites plus Indian Tacos. It’s fair time around here and that has me craving these. I think that means they need to be on the menu.
