Start the week and month with a new Weekly Menu Plan!
Happy Cinco de Mayo! I hope you all are enjoying your day. It’s the start of a new month and a great time to get started with a new weekly menu plan.
We are heading into the final push to the end of school. Last week, my son had testing throughout the week so this week and next it’s all about finishing up those final few things and they are done!
I honestly feel like this week tends to be the true final week and then the following week is more full of fun activities as they get into summer. I know my kids are ready for summer. I’m ready too, I love the slow down that it brings not so much with work but just with our days in general.
I don’t feel nearly as rushed throughout the day, which is kind of crazy considering I still work from home with them here. It’s just different though. It does take a few weeks to get into a nice routine.
Then, come August…I’m ready for school to start! It’s all about balance, right?

In the meantime, I try to stick to a menu plan all throughout the summer. Honestly, I probably stick to even more then.
In the summer my grocery bill goes up as the kids somehow start to eat us out of the house. Isn’t it funny how when food is accessible it all disappears so quickly? I’m going to have to do snack portion control this summer, mainly just so we can actually keep the snacks around for a few days.
