Let’s get to this week’s menu plan, it’s time for a Weekly Menu Plan!
It’s the final week of school for our son! He was only 1 year old when I started this website, and now he’s going into 4th grade. Doesn’t even seem like that is possible, does it? It is just crazy to me how quickly time flies when you have kids especially when they get into school.
I feel like this year went much faster than years past, I’m ready though for summer. It’s just so nice to be able to stay out longer in the evenings and not have to rush out the door in the morning. I’m anxious for that! I am in the midst of thinking up ideas and things to do this summer too.
It is nice that my daughter is getting older, so it’s a little bit easier for us to do things. We don’t have to work around naps or feeding schedules. They are finally getting to the age that we can just hop in the car and go somewhere for the day. I’ve been looking forward to that time and it’s finally here!
In the meantime though, a menu plan is a must! We do most of our grilling recipes on the weekend, so I’ve added a few of those too. I’ll be sharing many garden fresh recipes too soon.
Have you started your garden? Ours is really getting off to a good start, hopefully it stays that way and we can keep the bugs away from our squash. I was pretty sad to see most of our squash eaten up last year. We’ve planted flowers in the garden this year that we also hope prevents that.
