It’s nearly February. I’ll admit, I’m ready for spring. Are you? I used to really LOVE winter but now I love fall and I could truly live without winter. It’s so cold, even our house is freezing. I think this has been the coldest it’s been around our area in the winter and those tile floors I had put throughout the whole house just aren’t as fun as they once were.
Heated floors…someone should have suggested that before we laid all the tile. We even have new windows and it still feels like the cold air is coming through them. I guess though when it’s basically below zero, what can you expect?
In the summer though it’s great and it’s nearly spring, so I’ll just be glad we are so close!
We are also almost done with basketball season and that means a little less busy in our lives, so that’ll be nice too. I’m hoping to get our daughter started in riding lessons this spring as well, maybe our son too. I’m anxious to see how they do in those and hopefully we can stick with it.
Another thing coming up, Valentine’s Day! Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? My husband and I are probably the boring old couple, but we don’t actually do much at all anymore. I do love all the fun you can have with the kids though and cute little treats and things to make. I like to make Heart Shaped Pizzas and Valentine’s Day Cookies for the family. That’s the extent of my celebrating!
