I have been so tired lately that making dinner has felt like a chore lately, anyone else? I am super thankful though for my Ninja Foodi. It does all the things in one. So I’ve been using it as a slow cooker and air fryer lately to get dinner going fast. It also acts as an Instant Pot too.
Did I mention it does it all?
It’s literally replaced all my appliances. I’m not even sure why I have an oven anymore.
I think I am still trying to adjust from the holidays into the back to school mode. I’m sure when I do, we will then be off for spring break and I’ll be starting all over again with an adjustment period.
I even let my husband know that if we homeschooled, I wouldn’t have to get out of bed so early. It does look appealing I’ll admit…I guess I’d still have to get out of bed though, right? Minor detail.
My favorite breakfast is oatmeal and then I watched on the Today Show a nutritionist was mentioning that it can actually leave you with brain fog and very tired just a few hours after eating it.
That really hit home for me, I am like that every single day. I am usually at the gym in the mornings but many times I feel like I’m in such a fog I can barely work out. Of course, then the afternoon hits and I feel like I’m functioning well again. I really need to change up my morning breakfast.
Any ideas? What are some of your go-to morning meals?
