It’s time for a Weekly Menu Plan!
I really enjoyed the holidays, but I’m glad they are behind us now, are you? I always miss it once the season is over but it’s nice that we are super close for us personally being more in a calm, relaxing season. If there is such a thing?
We are in basketball season right now but about the middle to end of next month most of our activities end and I feel like I will be able to just breathe again. This is the time of year where we tend to have a lot going on in the evenings and being a homebody, it’s almost overload for me. I am thankful thought for all of it because it’s truly a fun time just super busy.
It does make dinner time a bit difficult though. I will admit it’s been a struggle and a rush. I think we went from eating dinner around 5 or 5:30 to 4:30 these days and I’m usually making it earlier in the day or using my slow cooker or Instant Pot. Those have been my saving grace right now. If I had planned better, I should have prepped some freezer meals. I need to remember this next year and do a freezer cooking day over winter break.
