It may be a game day, but we still need a Weekly Menu Plan!
Are you ready for the big game today? It happens to fall on my husband’s birthday, so guess what?
It’s a double win for having friends over for a party. What could be better than football and birthday cake?
My husband is beyond excited to have some great food today, celebrate his birthday, and watch the game. I guess that’s a great way to start your next year.
I’m more on the side of letting me have some tasty treats and I’ll chat with the girls. I would much rather socialize than watch the game.
What about you? Do you watch the game or just go for the food and conversation?
Lately, I have really tried to stay on top of planning out our dinners and sticking to using up the leftovers too.
Recently, I decided to reheat chili in the slow cooker and then we made loaded baked potatoes topped with chili. They were SO GOOD! Honestly, I think they were better than just the chili in a bowl with cornbread.
It also allowed us to not waste the leftovers, which is something I am really working on this year.
Do you use up leftovers in new meals throughout the week? I used to do this all the time, and then I started slacking off.
I realized though just how much food we are wasting and how much money I’m spending on groceries…just to not use it all.
This year it’s all about eliminating waste.
I have also continued to make air fryer recipes regularly. I truly love the air fryer, it makes things so easy and so delicious all at the same time.
Now, are you ready for a menu? Let’s get to it!
