That’s it! The last menu plan of 2018! We are just about to welcome in 2019.
I hope you all enjoyed 2018, but I do hope you have an even better 2019! I was just thinking that I still remember New Year’s Eve 1999 like it was yesterday…with all the Y2K craze.
Anyone else? Then, I realize that was nearly 2 decades ago.
Where did the time go?
I start to realize that all those things I’ve worried about each year, finances, health, kids, family…all the random day to day worries…are so meaningless.
I don’t remember what I was worried about in 1999 but I do remember my family and friends. I guess it makes me more aware of how much energy all my worrying takes up and how much it really doesn’t matter.
I am actually hoping for a quiet New Year’s Eve this year. Honestly, all I want to do is snuggle on the couch with a good movie and my husband. Just relaxing and enjoying the holidays.
We aren’t huge party people though so to me, staying home is exactly where I want to be.
Do you have a big party? We have in the past, but I’m just ready for a break.
Maybe even some board games with the family? Yep, we are that boring and I LOVE it!
Also, does anyone else find it funny that we spend the past 2 months of nonstop eating, just to turn around and decide we now can’t eat anything because we all have to lose weight?
It’s time for all of that to change too…the never-ending cycle.
