Many of us have furry family members, right? By that I mean dogs and cats! In our family we have a HUGE dog who thinks she is a puppy. As we get closer to the day of love next month, have you thought about Valentine’s Day Treats for the dogs in your life?
Our dog, May, is a bundle of joy and energy! We got her when she was only 9 weeks old, she was actually pretty big then for a puppy but she was tiny in comparison to how big she is now. She is actually a lab mix, her dad was huge too. I wish I knew what she was mixed with though because she is quite a bit bigger than a typical lab would be. Even though she may be as big as me, she still thinks she’s a lap dog and will just sit right in your lap as if she’s 10 lbs!
We got May just after our first wedding anniversary when we were moving into our first home. She’s almost 8 in human years which I hear is a lot in dog years, I try not to think about that. She’s our first baby!
We love to treat May to a variety of goodies throughout the year and what better way to do that than with her favorite bones from Milk-Bone.
I decided to pick up a big box of Milk-Bones along with Pup-Peroni at Walmart. Then, I grabbed a cute bowl to decorate and put them in. Although, I don’t think she really cared about the cuteness, she was more into what was in the bowl.
May was anxious to dig in, she loves the Milk-Bones. We’ve been treating her to those for years.
Then, she decided to just grab the whole package of Pup-Peroni. Don’t worry…we didn’t let her eat the whole thing. We like to use the treats to help her do different tricks like stay, laying down, and sitting.
The best part is starting on Thursday 1/15, you can click on over to the Milk-Bone website and print off pre-designed Valentine’s Day Printables just for the pup in your life!
Happy Doggy Valentine’s Day!
