Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches

This past week if you follow on Facebook, I shared about the case of Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches that arrived on my doorstep.  I received so many boxes of the chicken sandwiches and was thrilled because although I cook nearly every day sometimes this mom needs a break!

First, I knew that there was no way that I could eat all of these sandwiches, so I gave a few away.  Oh and another HUGE win for us…they do have wheat, but my nephew has severe food allergies and luckily he can have small amounts of wheat, so that meant that these products were on his ‘safe’ list.  That is a rare occurrence, so we were thrilled!

I also gave a box to my mom as she was leaving from babysitting.  I let her know we pay in chicken sandwiches.

It must have been great timing because this past weekend, I had to go to an outing that I had my husband watching our son plus our friends 2 boys.  Although, I normally have homeade freezer meals ready to go, this time I just had Taco Stew.  I am very happy to eat Taco Stew; however, I knew the kids would probably not care for it too much, plus my husband wanted something very simple.  I think he was already trying to find ideas to keep the boys busy while we were gone, so spending the evening cooking was not going to happen.

He heated up these sandwiches and the kids thought they were great.  My toddler only wanted the chicken, like one large chicken nugget I guess is what he was thinking.  My husband loved them too he added some extras to his like lettuce, tomato, and pickles.

We were very thankful to have these on hand when we needed a quick dinner!  We were also happy to spread the love and give some away!
