I’ve mentioned this many times, but I love getting my All You magazine not just for the coupons but also the recipes. Nearly all of them are under $5.00 to make and they are tasty! This past month, I decided to try the Turkey Sloppy Joes.
At first I was leery, because unlike the recipe instructs, I did not use my slow cooker. Instead I let it all simmer in the skillet for about 15-20 minutes. Why? Well, as I do many times, I looked only at the ingredients to be sure that I had everything. I overlooked the part that said ‘slow cooker’, at this point I needed dinner ready in 30 minutes not 4 hours!
The result: Delicious.
I honestly think I like these sloppy joes better than the regular beef sloppy joes. I am going to try it next with the Ground Chicken and see what kind of flavor they have.
Be sure and try out these sloppy joes and remember it’s a slow cooker meal, but you can always use the skillet and let it simmer!!
Enjoy!

Looks delish! My family LOVES sloppy joes!
I LOVE Turkey Sloppy Joes. I make them so they are a little less sloppy, and then I use lettuce and make lettuce wraps with them instead of bread to save a few calories and carbs. Try the lettuce wrap version, you will not be sorry.
Turkey is so much cheaper and healthier. I definitely need more of these recipes.
