Add some delicious taste to any party with this Tropical Fruit Salsa using DOLE® Frozen Fruit. This post is written in partnership with DOLE® Frozen Fruit, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
It’s basically a known thing now around my friends that when you come over to our house, there will always be food to eat. It’s just somehow become a way of life for us, even when guests drop in, I can quickly whip up a snack or something to share among guests. I guess when you run a food blog for a living, people just expect food… who knew? I have a go-to Tropical Fruit Salsa though that is well loved around our home and perfect to share with family and friends.
DOLE® Frozen Fruit is a usual item on our grocery list to be used in a variety of foods including smoothies and of course this fruit salsa too. We always have it on hand in our freezer so that if I decide to make some muffins or treats, I can be certain I have fruit to put in it too. One of the many benefits of DOLE® Frozen Fruit is that it’s already washed and cut, plus it’s in resealable bags. That’s the part I love…the bag! I can take 1/2 a cup of fruit out and leave the rest and know that I’ll have some on hand to last me instead of it going bad or going to waste.
The other thing that is perfect with DOLE® Frozen Fruit is it is simply frozen fruit no extra additives, so there is no need to worry about extra sugar or other ingredients.
When I make this Tropical Salsa, I use the Wildly Nutritious Tropical Fruit Variety from DOLE® Frozen Fruit. Then, I pair it with a bit of chopped red onion and fresh cilantro. I also add in juice from 1/2 a lime just to even out the sweet taste too. A quick mix of this together and paired with pita chips, it quickly becomes a go-to snack for family and friends.
Guess what that means? #DisasterAverted with #DoleFrozenFruit because I can quickly live up to my reputation of always having food on hand to snack on when you visit our house!
It’s a win for all and we certainly enjoy our go-to Tropical Salsa too. Have you tried DOLE® Frozen Fruit? What do you like to make with it? Be sure to head over to the DOLE® Frozen Fruit website to find even more tasty recipes!
Enjoy!

This sounds delightful. I love fruit. I had an entire plate of watermelon for breakfast this morning. That’s actually an everyday thing for me.
Wow this recipe looks amazing! I love that you use the bags of fruit so you don’t even have to spend a ton of time cutting up fruit! I definitely need to try this!
