A few month’s back I posted about Sunflower Suzi and The Gigglin’ Garden Gang. When I did this post, I focused more on the book and CD simply because it was winter and a little too chilly for our sunflowers to really grow.
This time I wanted to share with you all about the sunflower kit that comes with this fabulous book and CD. My son really enjoyed helping plant the sunflowers and water them too. He’s very interested in gardening right now as he is watching my husband and I prep our yard for our garden this year.
We decided to do this project out on our front porch, but I will likely be moving them to the backyard so they can soak up a bit more sun!
The first step was reading the instructions of course, then we started to get the pods ready to water. My husband and son did this activity together.
Next, my son decided he needed to reorganize them a few times.
Now for his favorite part, watering them with the watering can!
I absolutely loved doing this and watching my husband and son share this activity together. My son had a great time and is anxious to see them grow as are his parents! I would love some beautiful sunflowers this spring and summer season!
Another thing I enjoyed this time around was the ease of purchase of the product. The Gigglin’ Garden Gang has an entirely new website making it very easy to navigate. I really enjoy that they have an area for activities to do with the kids as well as a parents area. These are both great tools for activities with the kids on learning growth as well as planting.
Next to purchase, they have it setup via Amazon. I purchase on Amazon frequently so I am very familiar with it which made it even easier to purchase our kit!
Overall, this is a fabulous activity for kids and even my 2 1/2 year old loved it! If I have success with those sunflowers, I am sure I’ll be posting an update again soon!
Enjoy the beginnings of spring!

Oh my stars! What a wonderful thing for y’all to share with your son! So much fun and to be able to learn a lesson at such a young age (without even being aware of that lesson)…SCORE! I do hope your sunflowers grow because I can’t wait to see a follow up to this!
