A while back I mentioned that I would be doing a giveaway for The Chew products, the time is here! Just in time for the holidays too, even better!
Along with this giveaway, I am also going to share with where you can find all the holiday recipes from The Chew. They are included on The Chew’s Thanksgiving Headquarters. There you can find all the information you have seen on The Chew plus, loads of holiday recipes! My eye immediately caught the Turkey Dumpling Soup; however, that may be a little too complex for this quick and easy cook! Then, I saw the chocolate pumpkin pie. That I can handle!
Let’s move on to this great giveaway, one lucky reader will win this prize pack. It will include a blanket and key ring bottle opener. I don’t know about you but I could use this to warm up this winter!
To Enter:
1. Leave a comment letting us know your favorite Thanksgiving dish.
This giveaway begins now and ends on November 25th at 11:59CST.
Good Luck!
Disclosure: I was contacted by The Chew to host this giveaway, there was no monetary exchange. I just thought you all may like it!

My ultimate favorite side dish at Thanksgiving has to be SWEET POTATOES! I like them roasted perfectly until the center is smooth & creamy, and I made a Maple Brown Compound Butter this year to go on top…simple, delicious, sweet, savory…everything there is to enjoy at Thanksgiving!
Love sweet potatoes with marshmallows!! Yum!
My favorite holiday dish is my Great Aunt’s Buttermilk Lemon Custard Pie. It took me a few years to make it as great as she did, but I’ve got it now and it’s something my family ALWAYS looks forward to during the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). Especially now that she is no longer with us. It’s a nice reminder of having her with us again during this time of the year!
LOVE the mashed potatoes!!!
Candied yams 🙂 Made the same way for three generations and I’ll be passing that on to my children as well.
broccoli casserole!
Mincemeat Pie is my favorite. Then turkey.
turkey breast, gravy and a biscuit–yum!
My favorite dish is a broccoli and cheese casserole that my mom makes.
I don’t know that I have any one single favorite since each item alone just isn’t the same. I love turkey with homemade gravy and the mashed potatoes made with loads of butter and milk, the sweet potato casserole I grew up with (mashed sweets mixed with crushed pineapple, brown sugar and raisins topped with mini marshmallows), and plenty of cranberry sauce to mix (accidentally on purpose) with the gravy on my plate. When I discovered the leftover sandwich that seems to be so popular now (dinner between two slices of bread), that became my favorite way to eat leftovers!! Well, that and dunking cold turkey into cold gravy as a snack. 😉
Oops – I forgot the stuffing. Gotta have the stuffing, too, preferably from inside the bird and hopefully with raisins and apples in it.
pumpkin pie!!! With enough left over for breakfast the next morning, followed by cold turkey sandwiches for lunch, nothing better than the day after Thanksgiving leftovers!!!
gotta luv the dressing!
I LOVE to pick the merange off the lemon merange pie!!! 😉
My favorite dish would have to be the noodles with gravy!! Yummy!!
My favorite is the dressing my mom makes – mmmmm good!
Pineapple casserole! My daughter even asked for it to take to her class meal. I don’t know why I only make it for the holidays. It is so easy and delicious!
Now! Don’t laugh! Don’t roll your eyes either. I LOVE jellied cranberry……straight from a can. Yes, this is my FAVORITE “dish”. Now don’t get me wrong, the turkey is always great, my moms dressing is AMAZING and the pies…oh my! But none of that would be complete without that little can of jellied cranberry! I, for one, think it is so underrated! I can almost taste it now. YUM!
Aww, I have to pick just ONE?? It is all so yummy!!! One of my very favorites is sweet potato casserole, with brown sugar and pecans on top. We don’t have sweet potatoes very often so I always be sure to get a BIG helping for Thanksgiving 🙂
I love Potato Salad best. I use my mother’s recipe and it is wonderful. Thanksgiving is the only day I fix it so it is even better.
My favorite Thanksgiving dish is my grandmothers cranberry salad. Every time around this year, I have to make it several times because it reminds me of her. She passed away very suddenly and this is what helps me remember her best! She was a breast cancer survivor (2 times!) and was a wonderful grandmother! The cranberry salad always hits the spot!
My favorite Thanksgiving thing is mashed potatoes.
My favorite Thanksgiving dish would have to be my Mom’s banana pudding She always made it for holidays.
My Favorite Thanksgiving dish is my Homemade Roasted Garlic and Chive Mashed Potatoes…well, and also Broccoli Casserole..but then there is the Pumpkin Cheesecake…ok, well I guess i have too many favorites..lol…thank you for doing this giveaway and the opportunity! The Chew is awesome and i have learned SO much about different dishes to cook and techniques…so this is Awesome! Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!! 🙂
Sweet Potato Pie!
Searching reddit.com I noticed your site bookmarked as: The Chew Giveaway.
I’m assuming you book marked it yourself and wanted to ask if social book-marking gets you a large amount of targeted traffic? I’ve been
contemplating doing some book-marking for a few of my sites but
wasn’t sure if it would produce any positive results. Thank you so much.
My mom’s stuffing…even though she has given me her recipe, I still can’t make it like she does. There is something in the spice combination that I just can’t get right. She uses oysters also and that makes it even better. Yum… how long till Thanksgiving? 🙂
