Let’s take the challenge and make these delicious Strawberry Oat Parfaits!
I mentioned last month that I decided to join in and take the #GoodbyeSugar30 Challenge using SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener. First, I’ll say I was totally amazed by the amount of sugar I actually use that I didn’t realize. It’s in just about everything it seems and I use it in unnecessary ways such as in coffee. The first thing I did was replace it in my coffee. I was so happy to be able to use a sweetener that is naturally sweetened with Stevia. It was a great swap and it didn’t have a difference in taste either.
Now, the next thing I noticed or pointed out to my husband is that anytime we get strawberries and bananas, he slices them up then tops them with a lot of sugar! He loves sugar on top of strawberries, it makes me cringe. It’s basically adding something unnecessary to wonderful fruit. So, I swapped out the sugar and had him use SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener, and he could not taste a difference. He still got that sweet taste he was craving and I wasn’t over here cringing.
I decided to make these little Strawberry Oat Parfaits since this is a go-to for breakfast around our home. I used Vanilla Greek Yogurt, then I topped it with strawberries and oats. At this point, you can use the packets of SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener to sweeten each parfait. My kids loved these just as much as my husband. I actually had them ready to go in little mason jars for them all week. That way when my kids start to ask for a snack or needed breakfast to go, I could just add a few strawberries and then top it with the SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener…and everyone was happy!
A bonus is that there is no bitter aftertaste with this sweetener, it’s the perfect alternative. It’s made with the Stevia leaf that is rich in Reb D. It’s harvested, dried, and then steeped in water. Right now, you can pick up this product in stores in a 40 or 80 count box. I love the packets because I can carry a few with me to sweeten my tea on the go. I love tea, but I hate the unnecessary sugar in it, so this is a great option for myself.
Now, have you tried it yet? Be sure to check it out and try out these Strawberry Oat Parfaits! For more information, visit SplendaNaturals.com.
Enjoy!

That looks like a delicious breakfast. I would love to try the 30 day sugar free challenge. Sugar is a huge addiction for me. It’s something I really need to work on
This looks like a great breakfast or snack option. I like that there is not any additional sugar. I use Splenda for a lot of sweetener needs and like the sweetness it adds without the aftertaste.
This is a delicious and AMAZING way to have a healthier breakfast loaded with oats and fruit! I like to do strawberry yogurt, but this looks even better. Nice tip about Splenda!
When did Splenda and Stevia partner up? Original Splenda is the only artificial sweetener that I can use without getting migraines. I’ve yet to try Stevia, but am looking forward to giving it a chance.
I believe just recently, I was pretty happy to hear it too!
This is a staple recipe in my home, in fact, any overnight oats are! I don’t ever use Splenda or Stevia. I prefer liquid-based sweeteners like maple syrup (REAL, of course!) and raw honey!
Maple syrup sounds good too!
These strawberry oat parfaits look absolutely delicious! I love simple, healthy recipes. This is something I can easily make in the morning for breakfast. Thanks so much for sharing.
Parfaits are my fave breakfast treats…I love how light they are while still being very filling. These look great! I need to give them a try…
