It’s time to stock up on P&G Household Needs Products at Costco, and I am showing a few of the ways I did just this! This post was sponsored by P&G as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review.
Here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, something exciting happened this past month; Costco arrived at a new location! That’s right, after decades of wishing we had a Costco, we finally have one. My sister and I headed to Costco for a morning of shopping and we were certainly impressed.
As I was shopping, I decided to stock up on several P&G Household Needs Products, like laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, and Febreze. Let’s face it every house could use a little boost of fresh scents. I was impressed to see that they have lots of instant savings offers including the products I was purchasing too, so I was able to get enough to last me months for very little in the pocketbook!
Lately, my battle has been with our laundry. For some reason, all of a sudden our towels started to get a musty smell. My husband says they smelled like rust. I think it was more like mildew regardless though, YUCK! So I headed to Costco and became one with the laundry detergent aisle, reading all of the products about ways to get the smell out.
I ended up purchasing the Downy Unstopables and Gain detergent. The Unstopables are my new best friend when it comes to laundry. These are amazing and perfect for not only our towels but also all my husband’s greasy work clothes. They go in with the detergent into the washer and they give all the clothes and towels a scent booster. Our clothes now literally smell Downy fresh.
I was ecstatic to find something that worked and even better that I waited and tried this before buying all new towels. Now, I’m staying on top of it by using Unstopables with each wash and also the Gain dryer sheets too. It really is the little details like offering this product that set P&G Household Needs products above the rest.
Now, I can rest assured that the time I spend doing the laundry won’t become undone by some pesky scent, it smells great now with P&G Household Needs Products!
Have you stopped by Costco lately to pick up your P&G Household Needs Products? What are some of your favorites?

That’s great you have a Costco near you. I love shopping at Costco. Those sound like really great laundry products. I like having nice smelling laundry too. I’ve used those unstoppables before, and they make our towels smell nice.
I love P&G products and I also love it when I can get coupons to buy the items. I have to be honest, I have never shopped at Costco, but I have heard some really good things about the store. I am going to have to go check it out and do some price checking.
I love Costco, and shop there at least once a week! You just can’t beat the great prices, and I personally love that a thing of toilet paper or laundry detergent lasts for months! So much better than constantly running out of the smaller sizes!
Gain was always one of my grandmother’s secrets to laundry. Not only did it make her clothes smell great but her whole house as well. I miss that.
We are getting a brand new Costco very close to my house. Not only am I excited to stock up on household items like the ones you posted about but I am excited to check out their line up for gluten-free food products. I’ve heard wonderful things about the options they have, so I have my fingers crossed!
These are my stock up items as well. Even though I make a list and shop during sales I still run out of products every now and then. I guess it just comes along with being over worked.
I wish we had a Costco in our area. They just started building the closest one 50 mile away. I also wish I was a stockpiler, but our family is full of procrastinators and last-minute shoppers.
I’ve been wanting to try the Down Unstoppables for some time now. I may need to add them to my next order…
