In case you had not realized this yet…which would mean you may be living in the dark, I had a baby this past year! What comes along with those precious bundles of joy? Flub. F-L-U-B. Yep, that’s a 4 letter word.
I have some extra flub hanging around lately and it just is not pretty friends, at all! So, I have been trying to get myself back to healthy again and thankfully Walgreens is helping me right along with that goal! Walgreens has started a new program called Steps with Balance Rewards. Basically for every mile you walk or run you get 20 points in Balance Rewards as you track your weight.
This is especially helpful to me since I shop with Balance Rewards on a regular basis. I am working to get rid of this extra flub that has made a vacation on my body since having the baby and to do that I’m taking small steps to get back into fitness.
I have had some postpartum issues that probably aren’t blog friendly to discuss but one that is would be back pain. Painful…can not walk back pain! What do you do when you have this? Go to the chiropractor first, then get yourself back in shape with stretches and exercise. For me, walking seems to really help with this and that is exactly what I plan to do!
Signing up is simple, you head on over to Walgreens website then click on sign up for Steps with Walgreens and log in! This immediately lets you put in your goals and weigh in information.
Another thing I love about Walgreens is that I can purchase food items to keep us eating healthy throughout the week there with my Balance Rewards card plus earn more rewards! I was able to knock off about half my grocery list with a quick trip to Walgreens. Some of the items I like to purchase regularly are dairy products as well as some protein bars for my husband. I also love the NICE! Walgreens brand!
I also love to pick up a Chobani yogurt on my Walgreens runs, perfect snack to have after a walk or run!
