I have mentioned many times before that I have a very picky eater on my hands! Not only is he picky at all meals but also snack time. I have a feeling a lot of his picky eater qualities come from me. The saying that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree always seems to come back to me when we are dealing with picky eater battles.
One of my favorites though to purchase for him regularly are Del Monte Fruit Cups! Not only do I love that these are a healthy snack options for him but also for my husband and I too. I love eating these throughout the day and it’s one of the few ways I actually enjoy eating fruit.
Del Monte never seems to let me down because they always are introducing new flavors like this Diced Apples & Pears with Caramel Sauce! Can we say delicious?
Along with the caramel option they also have this new version of Diced Pears with Vanilla & Spice. My son preferred this one the best.
I was able to pick up both of these options over at Walmart, even better I was also able to use a coupon which you can print here!
Why do I love these personally so much? Well, first they are gluten free! I have a hard time finding gluten free snacks and these are perfect, plus they are only 60 calories!
Of course, I love eating these topped with Cool Whip so my calorie count may go up a bit but it’s totally worth it!
My son and I decided to take a mommy and son break and enjoy our tasty snack! He was excited to get to try a new snack! Then, daddy came home and nearly at them all before our very eyes!
What do you think? Have you tried the new fruit cups?

What a sweet face! I love using fruit cups as a quick way to get fruits into my kids’ bellies. Sometimes I mix the fruit with plain Greek yogurt (adding some of the juice) to get their calcium in there too. Thanks for the post!
Kristy, your boy is just getting too stinkin’ cute. Can’t wait to see that little one that’s still cookin’
Haha!!! Thank you!!! I can’t wait to see her either!! 🙂
Your “Packers” spoon made me think you might be from my area- but perhaps you are just a fan?
What a little cutie pie!
We love the new flavors as well. I mixed the pears with fat free vanilla pudding and it was fantastic!
