I’m going to let you know now that I love slow cooker chicken. It is actually one of my favorite ways to prepare chicken because it is so tender! That was just the case with this chicken, not only that this dish is extremely budget friendly and easy!
We did this as part of our freezer meals, so we prepared this meal ahead of time and then froze it in a Ziploc freezer safe bag. Once I was ready to make it all I did was defrost it a bit and put it in the slow cooker. Then, I just let it cook all day until it was perfectly tender and delicious!
This can be made with either skin on or skinless drumsticks. It can also be done with chicken breast or thighs as well. I was able to get a great deal on drumsticks, so that is how we ended up with this budget friendly dish!
Enjoy this quick and easy meal!

so simple; so easy. will have to give this a try . . .
So simple! I love the idea of just throwing everything in a bag and cooking it later.
Hope you enjoy it!
This is so amazingly easy. I’ll be trying this when I get back home from my current trip.
I wonder if I can also add a can of cream of chicken?
I haven’t tried that in this recipe, so I’m not sure.
