Make a delicious dinner with these Slow Cooker French Dip Subs!
I first made French Dip Subs many years ago when I started cooking regularly for our family. Honestly, I haven’t had them really since that time and clearly, that needs to change! I was craving them recently, so I decided to whip up some meat for them and goodness they were so good.
I served the subs on pretzel rolls, which was a heavenly pairing for my husband and kids. I opted for gluten-free bread for myself; however, that didn’t alter how tasty they were.
This was one of those meals that I could not wait to enjoy the leftovers again the next day. Of course, the best part is the slow cooker did the hard work, all I did was eat it up.
How do you make Slow Cooker French Dip Subs?
The key here is using the right seasonings to make the french dip taste, did you know you can do this simply without using a mix?
I do keep a variety of seasonings and mixes on hand, but when I know that I already have all the spices that would go into a mix, it’s so simple to do it without the extra cost. It’s likely, you probably have all you need in your spice cabinet too.
Slow Cooker French Dip Subs are simply a mix of a few seasonings paired with beef broth and onion. Then, you will want a thinly sliced steak.
I decided to use bottom round steak that was already cut for stir fry purposes, it made my job even easier because it was pre-sliced too. I didn’t even know they were sold like that, did you?
If you are like me and you need several slow cooker meals during the week these Slow Cooker French Dip Subs need to be added to your menu, you won’t be disappointed!
