Fall is in the air, can you feel it?
I may not be able to outside just yet but I know it’s coming! If I can’t feel it, by all means I should at least be able to smell it, right?
This Slow Cooker Apple Cinnamon Roast will bring the scents of fall to your kitchen and that burst of flavor to your mouth!
Yum?
I think so!
I have been using my slow cooker significantly more since my son started school than I had before, it is just so much easier to prepare dinner in advance. I typically prepare my slow cooker meals the night before once the kids are in bed. Then, in the mornings I can just put the dish inside the cooker and turn it on! When I wake up, I’m set and dinner is cooking!
My husband even ask me why we were having so many slow cooker meals lately, I had to remind him that I’m getting everyone home and settled at dinner time. What does the slow cooker help with? It keeps us from eating dinner at bed time!
I do though try to prep dinner in advance as much as possible. Some other ways to go about this is to precook your meats. For instance cook all your ground beef then divide it into bags by the pound and put it in the freezer. This makes it easy to whip up some tacos and simply heat the meat a few minutes or toss the meat into the slow cooker without precooking.
Now…are you ready for a new recipe to add to your slow cooker list?!
Enjoy this delicious, fall dish!
