Disclosure: I participated in this program on behalf of Champions for Kids and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.
As we head back to school, many schools are in need of new books. I know most of the schools in our area all take donated books to fill up their libraries.
The majority are in need of books in various age levels to meet the needs of all the students attending.
As soon as I heard about the #Fuel4School Book Drive with Champions for Kids, I knew I had to get involved! We already had so many books that we needed to donate, so I simply collected our own along with some from friends and family. We quickly racked up books that we could donate. It’s so simple to donate books because just with 10 or so friends almost everyone has at least 5-10 books they are willing to donate. That is A LOT of books!
Champions for Kids makes it easy though with these 4 EASY Steps:
- GATHER your friends, family, and co-workers.
- LEARN about the needs of children in your community.
- GIVE items to help kids enjoy happier & healthier lives.
- SHARE your story with us to inspire others.
Giving back is so simple, one little book can make a huge difference for a child especially those that may only get the luxury of books at school.
We are currently planning to donate our books to a variety of schools in our area, as well as checking with our son’s school to see what types of books they are in need of. I know my son is already looking forward to library day at his school and we would love to take part in being sure there are lots of books to choose from.
Champions for Kids and Kellogg Company are teaming together to encourage change in your community by challenging you with this #Fuel4School Community Project! Are you ready to take the challenge?
