I shopped savvy using Walmart Savings Catcher, as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #SavingsCatcher #Sponsored
This may be the best App I have EVER used. I’m not joking either, an app that you can actually save and make money on? Yes, it’s true. So far, this is pretty much the best idea that Walmart has ever had, Savings Catcher. This app can save you so much time and money. Basically it does all the ad matching for you without having to do it as you checkout at the store. Sound wonderful?
I am a very lazy couponer, I’ll admit that. I have tried and failed multiple times to use coupons to purchase groceries and do price matching. The bottom line is I just do not have the time, and I really have no desire to clip coupons. Yes, I love a good deal and am a very frugal shopper but when it comes to spending an hour or more clipping coupons and going to multiple stores, I just don’t want to do it. I now live very close to Walmart and really not many other stores so that is my prime stop for shopping. I like to get all my groceries in one spot, then head home and spend time with my family.
The great thing about the new app, Savings Catcher, is that I can spend time with my family and not mess with price matching because the app does it for me.
All you do is shop at Walmart for these items that are eligible, check out this list. Once you are done shopping, you simply scan or enter in your receipt into Savings Catcher. Next, within 72 hours Savings Catcher will compare the prices with other ads in the area to give you the best deal. That means within 3 days you will receive your money back for the items that are eligible for price matching.
The money you receive back can be saved in Savings Catcher up until you would like to issue a Walmart giftcard to redeem your money.
As soon as I did our major grocery shopping trip for the week, I scanned my receipt. Then, within about a day I received over $5.00 back! Yes, that’s $5! I was pretty ecstatic because that was just 1 trip and let’s face it, I’m there every other day if not more. That adds up, even if I just made $5.00 on my major grocery shopping trips that’s still $20 a month in savings and that’s a big deal around here!
Are you excited about this yet? You should be!
Not only can you submit your receipts via the app but also fresh produce will be added to savings catcher as of 8/4 and you can even submit your Box Tops via the app!
This new app makes me excited to save, plus excited that it’s simple enough to do!
Be sure to download it today, then go shopping!
