Today, was a blast! I invited some of my closest friends and family over to try out the latest spring line from Sally Hansen! Do you see all these beautiful colors? I went a bit crazy at the store buying up every spring color I could find!
I purchased all my products at Walgreens using my Balance Rewards! They had all sorts of fun things, head over to my Google + to see more!
I have also decided I would love to have the job that names all the colors of nail polish. A few of my favorites “I lilac you” and “Red my lips”…Love it!
We started our party off right by setting up with lots of polishes and accessories including the nail art pens. These pens were amazing! I tried these out and the color is perfect, plus they are really thick with color. It isn’t so dull that they do not show up, it’s vibrant! The biggest tip that I got was to be sure that your nail polishes dry completely before adding the nail art. Mine had dried 24 hours before I tried it but definitely do not need to wait that long!
Of course along with the party, we busted out the food too! I did quick and easy food including fruit along with this fruit dip and veggies with this ranch dip. I also made a batch of gluten free chocolate chip cookies. We also had some petite quiche and deli spirals! Then, served along with some sweet tea! Delicious!
Once all the guest arrived it was time to party! We all agreed that the brushes of the polishes were amazing. They were thick and angled differently than a typical nail polish. Some of the favorites were the pink and purple shades plus the Hard as Nails top coats.
We attempted to do Cora’s nails, but she was a little too squirmy!
My baby and I with my nails done in fuchsia! Don’t look too closely…yes, I have horrible nails. I’m hoping some of the Sally Hansen products help that!
My mom did both her toes and fingernails with the Fuchsia Power, gave her a nice pop of pink for the spring!
Even one of our youngest guest took a break from her delicious treats to paint her little nails!
She did a fabulous job too…got to teach them young!
The hardest part was making the decision, so much to choose from!
We also did some prep work getting our nails ready to paint too!
She was trying to decide which colors she wanted to take with her after she got her nails all pretty!
My sister got in touch with her inner sparkle and added sparkle to her toes!
At the end everyone left with some of their favorite Sally Hansen colors and products. I was planning to individually wrap some goody bags, then decided to just let everyone pick their favorites! They were all happy to leave with some new spring colors!
Plus…we all had pretty nails!
She’s ready to go with sparkle!
This is an update a few days later with the color I Lilac You, it still looks great and that’s after baths, cooking, and kids for days!
Are you ready to party with Sally Hansen and her latest spring line? What inspires your colors for nails? For me it’s all about what I’m wearing!
