Kick off summer with fresh veggies like broccoli. It taste great with this roasted broccoli recipe that I’m sharing in partnership with The Produce Gathering.
As summer kicks into gear here soon, that means that delicious fresh veggie recipes will be popping up more and more on the blog. Between Farmer’s Markets, Garden, and The Produce Gathering, the summer brings on a feast of great produce. Today, I wanted to share with you this delicious way to prepare broccoli that I received at The Produce Gathering.
I simple trim the broccoli, then toss it in garlic and olive oil. I like to add a little bit of sea salt too. Once it’s nicely tossed, you can place it in a foil pack on the grill or you can put it on a grill pan. I like to place it directly on a grill pan that is coated with non-stick cooking spray. Then, I simply let it grill on each side for about 5 minutes. It gives a nice toasted and roasted taste to the broccoli.
Once I have it plated and ready to serve, I like to top it with shredded Italian cheese just to give it another layer of flavor and taste.
My daughter can literally just eat this like candy, I have to say I can too. That says a lot too considering broccoli really isn’t my favorite veggie. I love it though when prepared this way.
Right now, you can sign up and SAVE over at The Produce Gathering using the MHCMember code when you sign up. This will give you a free membership and then you can shop around and see what you would love to order. I just picked up an order last week and am anxious to share a few more recipes that I made with those products. The produce always seems to last me a while and the meat is delicious too!

I fell in love with roasted broccoli a few years ago. I toss mine with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and sea salt. It’s delicious cooked in the oven or on the grill.
It’s so delicious!
Yum! Broccoli is at the top of my list when it comes to my favorite vegetables. It’s food that I can imagine myself eating even 365 days of the year. This recipe looks great and delicious!
Mm, that looks yummy! I love broccolis, but I’ve never tried roasting them. I am always on the look out for other ways to serve it and I love easy recipes like this. I’m making this later.
We love broccoli in our house! I normally just steam it or we eat it raw. I have never thought to roast and this looks amazing!
This is so awesome! Even if you are not a broccoli lover this way of cooking makes it amazing!
