I mentioned that I really love cereal as in I secretly have some each day at some point during the day. I also have a knack for chocolate cereal. That means that when I heard that Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate not only has the great combination of crispy and crunchy flakes with real cocoa…but is gluten-free too? Say it isn’t so! It was a heavenly realization!
I used to really not like chocolate, my best friend and sister used to give me a hard time because I just wasn’t a fan. Something changed though over the past several years and now I can’t live without it. I’m one of those that has a chocolate chip stash on hand at all times, only I realized they weren’t the healthiest thing to be eating. The new Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate helps me curb my craving.
I decided to pair mine with this yummy Raspberry Smoothie Bowl. Smoothie bowls seem to be all the rage lately and essentially it’s delicious yogurt blended into a smoothie consistency with your favorite toppings. I decided to make one using Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate as part of the toppings. It tasted like Chocolate Covered Raspberries…melt in your mouth good!
My son and I are both gluten-free, so we were anxious to try this and it hit the spot! Not only is Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate delicious with milk, it’s perfect as a topping in our smoothie bowls.
These smoothie bowls are great in the morning but for us we’ve found they are also perfect as a snack after school. It never fails my kids are starving in between lunch and dinner, what a wonderful way to curb that hunger with these bowls. Plus, I have found these are great for picky eaters since they can choose the toppings too.

Raspberry Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 Cup Raspberries
- 1 Tsp Honey
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- Toppings:
- Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate Gluten-Free
- Shredded Coconut
- Additional Raspberries
Instructions
- In a blender combine the yogurt, raspberries, honey, and vanilla. Once well combined, pour into bowl.
- Top with the toppings.
- Mix and serve.
