It’s time to spend some Quality Time with Friends & Family plus host a game night!
Our kids are family all at the age where we can have some fun game nights with our family. We decided we needed to spend Quality Time with Friends & Family. A few weeks back we hosted a great game night featuring several Goliath Games. These games are perfect for ages 4 & Up, which just happens to be ideal for us since our youngest family member is 4. Now, they can all participate in a fun game night with friends and family!
Of course, when I host a party food is always a must. This time, I decided to make something to coordinate with each game. There were five games that we played and each one had a fun little moment at the end where the shark bites, the pig pops, the dog does his business, the fox his pants fall off, and the worm dances. The kids LOVED them, of course there was a favorite and that was the Doggie Doo! That would be the boy’s favorite, wouldn’t it?
The Shark Bite game is perfect for all ages, where you reel in the fish and you try to get all the fish you can before the shark bites. Of course, I loved that it didn’t need batteries either. I decided to feature a fish party mix with Swedish Fish, pretzels, and chocolate candy for this game. That was loved by all the kids.
Next up on our game night was Giggle Wiggle. This game features a cute little caterpillar full of hands. In order to win you have to get all the colored marbles from top to bottom on his hands without them falling off. Remember the caterpillar wiggles to the music, it’s pretty tricky! For this game I featured dirt worm cups that were made with chocolate pudding, chocolate cookies, and gummy worms. A great little dessert for game night.
Pop the Pig® is a classic preschool game that children love. It’s a great way to help kids count as well. The kids fill up his belly with hamburgers until it finally POPS! This one teaches both counting and colors too. My daughter loved this one. We made pigs in a blanket to coordinate with this game for our foods.
Catch the Fox cracked me up! This one you have to fill the fox up with chickens stuffing them in his pockets. Once he gets too many chickens in his pockets his pants fall down and you have to grab as many as you can to fill the chicken coop. This was actually France’s 2016 Toy of the Year. We decided to feature chicken nuggets with this game in honor of all of those chickens in his pants!
Lastly, good ole’ Doggie Doo. This one was pretty fun and gross but hilarious too. The boys LOVED this one. Once you feed your puppy and squeeze the leash, plop…he does his business! This one has more than 120 million views on YouTube too. What can I say, kids love the idea of the Doggie Doo! I served up some chocolate covered raisins to go along with this one. They sure did taste good!
We spent the evening playing, enjoying each others company, and having some tasty treats to go along with our games. It happened to be the perfect way to usher in the busy holiday season and allow us all just to take some time to relax and enjoy each other. I’m thrilled Pressman Toys offers such great products.
Does your family host game nights? It’s one of our favorite things to do!
Happy Game Night Planning!
