Tips for Making Pizza Quesadillas:
Kids love to learn to cook and even better when you fill a warm tortilla with their favorite pizza ingredients. These are easy to get creative with too, you can add a variety of different toppings you would normally put on a pizza.
Some other ingredients you could use would be making it like a Hawaiian pizza with pineapple and ham or even a supreme pizza. It’s very easy to customize.
Then, once you are all done, dip it in pizza sauce and serve it.
What tortillas should you use for Quesadillas?
Quesadillas are typically made with flour tortillas, so this would be the classic choice.
If you need them gluten-free, I typically go with white corn tortillas or these gluten-free tortillas. These can be made using an air fryer, the oven, or even a skillet simply by flipping the tortilla over in the skillet or air fryer.
If you use the skillet, simply warm up the skillet on medium-high heat and use oil in the skillet just a spray of oil to cook the tortilla on both sides by flipping it.
The recipe is written using the oven, which is typically what you would likely be using.
Pizza Quesadillas are perfect for teaching the kids to cook, it’s a great cooking recipe for kids to learn with adult supervision of course. This is one of our go-to lunch choices during the summer break.
