I was so excited to do this sensory tub for fall. I love doing sensory tubs with my son, our most favorite was during the snow storm. We filled it with snow and snow friendly toys.
However, apparently he does not share my love of all things fall as much as I do!
As soon as he found the little pumpkins, he decided they should be thrown like balls! I filled our tub with items found at Hobby Lobby. I found little acorns that had bells in them as well as pinecones and leaves. Then, I added in a few fake corn and pumpkins that I had in my fall decorations. Oh and of course there was the feather boa.
Overall this was a fun activity, but I may add some dry beans next time to gain my son’s attention a bit more!

I L O V E sensory tubs! Great way to keep kids on task with what you’re trying to teach them! I would highly recommend adding dry beans or rice and fewer “things”. Make it kind of like a treasure hunt.
