I am a frequent stir fry eater, as I find it both healthy and delicious. It’s also easy and a great way to make a one dish meal. For a while now, I have been looking for some good Orange Chicken recipes with no luck! I tried a few and neither of them turned out well. I think for the most part it was probably just me!
Then, I saw this Orange Chicken recipe on Mommy’s Kitchen. This was exactly what I was looking for! I had every intention of making the sauce myself and creating this exactly as the recipe instructs; however, then I was wandering down the aisles at my local grocery store and found, Panda Express Orange Sauce.
I immediately realized I could possibly save myself even more time and ingredients and use this sauce instead. My husband and I love Panda Express, so I knew without a doubt we would really enjoy this sauce.
I went ahead and made this recipe exactly as she instructs regarding method, the only part I changed was instead of making my own sauce I used 1 Cup of the Panda Express Orange Sauce. I poured this in with the chicken and veggies just as the recipe calls for. I let it cook until it was well saturated into my chicken and veggies.
Once my Orange Chicken was finished I topped it over brown rice and dinner was served!
Another reason why I love dishes like this is that this sauce has no MSG, one of the downsides for me when it comes to Asian food is I try to stay away from MSG but so much of it consists of MSG it is sometimes hard to do that. Making this at home means I can make it as healthy or not healthy as I would like.
I am loving this Orange Chicken and the sauce. I am planning to utilize this same technique to make Kung Pao Chicken. I found a sauce for that as well, I am not into spicy so that one will be all for my husband!
Enjoy!

I saw those sauces at Walmart a couple weeks back. I too love Panda Express. It is so good to know the sauce are worth purchasing. I love shortcuts for a meal so good choice Kristy. I might have to try the orange one myself.
I do a “cheater” meal with that Panda Express orange sauce and Tyson Popcorn chicken. Add some green pepper and onion and it’s done in 10 minutes. Love fast stuff!
Fabulous idea, especially on those nights that are just too busy!!
