A few week’s back I used a coupon and bought my first jar of Nutella. At first I was a bit skeptical of how great it is said to be. I see recipes using Nutella all the time, and I just kept wondering is it really this good?
Is it?
Yes. It’s beyond delicious! I am not too sure that it could really be that great for you seeing as it is like eating pure chocolate. At least that’s how I felt about it and so did my toddler. He licked it off his plate!
As I was searching for a dessert to make I decided on Nutella Chocolate Chip Brownies using my Chocolate Chip Brownie recipe but replacing the cocoa powder.
The result was fabulous. The brownies were a bit more gooey than normal; however, they were so good the plate of brownies disappeared before my very eyes. I’m sure I’ll see it again soon when my pants don’t button. Just keeping it real!

These look delicious! I am obsessed with nutella. I can’t wait to bake these with my little ones!
I am starting a new blog that is a side project of my everyday life blog mrsmeandu.blogspot.com. The new blog is a recipe blog and I am looking for guest bloggers for the first week of the blog (it debuts in January). I was wondering if you would be interested in guest blogging one day for me. I think we might have similar demographics. 🙂 Email me back if you are interested! Thanks so much
Casey
I have yet to try it though I’m like you in that I always hear people saying how good it is. I guess I can’t get over the thought of putting chocolate on bread?? Doesn’t seem appealing to me. Maybe I’m weird!! 🙂
Nutella is great! If you need quick appetizer or dessert, take a tube of crescent rolls and separate them. Spread some Nutella on them and roll them up and bake them until done (whatever the directions say). SOOOOO good! The recipe on the Pillsbury website also adds an dollop of raspberry jam!!
Our favorite way to eat it is on ritz crackers as a sweet treat. My husband also enjoys peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches 🙂
Wow that sounds delicious!! What a great easy dessert!
