Meatballs are one of the best foods to make in the Ninja Foodi or Air Fryer. These Ninja Foodi Meatballs with tangy sauce will be a perfect choice!
Basically, when cooking these meatballs you are making meatballs in the air fryer. That means that with Ninja Foodi Meatballs, you will use the air crisp function of your Ninja Foodi.
Keep in mind though these can easily be made in an air fryer as Air Fryer Tangy Meatballs.
How do you make Ninja Foodi Meatballs?
These Ninja Foodi Meatballs are going to be adapted from my One-Pot Ninja Foodi Meatloaf. As I said in both recipes, the KEY to the recipe is the SAUCE.
The sauce is where all the flavor is, so I highly suggest using the sauce recipe. It’s very simple to make and packs a great flavor to the meatballs.
When making Ninja Foodi Meatballs, you will use the attached lid that comes with the Ninja Foodi plus the Air Crisp basket.
I made these with 1 Pound of Ground Beef which made enough for about 9 meatballs, it can actually make 10 or more; however, when I make these I make large meatballs.
These Air Fryer Chicken Meatballs are also a great choice for your Ninja Foodi or Air Fryer!
Be sure to check out my store on Amazon for accessories!
It’s not going to be the size that you get in a frozen bag of meatballs at the store.
These are big enough that 2 per person is adequate unless you are my son or husband then you may want to double this recipe.
Another tip is to be sure to spray the basket with olive oil cooking spray so they do not stick or you can use foil in the air fryer too.
The meatballs need to have an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees, it’s best to use a quick read thermometer to check the temperature.

The meatballs will cook for 12 minutes if they do not have that temperature add on about 2-3 minutes. Be sure not to cook too long as you will still be broiling them with the sauce.
Can you double the recipe for Ninja Foodi Meatballs?
That leads me to this question, yes you can double the recipe just keep in mind that you will need to do two batches in the air fryer or Ninja Foodi.
If you prefer the oven {gasp}, be sure to check out the Oven Baked Tangy Meatballs too.
This is a great Ninja Foodi Recipe, perfect for dinner.
I specifically cut this recipe down to 1 pound of ground beef so that I could cook just enough for about 4 people.
It worked out perfectly!
