Make the best appetizer with these Ninja Foodi Grape Jelly Meatballs!
One of our go-to appetizers for parties are these Ninja Foodi Grape Jelly Meatballs, they easily serve a crowd and are so simple to make.
These can be made in the slow cooker as well, you’d skip the water in this recipe and then cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Why use grape jelly in meatballs?
It will add to the flavor of the meatballs and gives them a nice sweet and savory flavor profile.
These will be paired with Heinz Chili Sauce too for a classic cocktail meatball.
How do you make these gluten-free?
These meatballs can be made gluten-free by using Gluten-Free Frozen Meatballs.
I did find that the store brand at Target was gluten-free, those are the ones that we opted to use.
As always, stores can change up their ingredients, so be sure to always check before using if gluten-free is a need.
The rest of the ingredients are typically naturally gluten-free but always check first.
Tips for Making Ninja Foodi Grape Jelly Meatballs:
These are made by using the pressure cooker function, so you will need to be using the Ninja Foodi Multi-Cooker with this function.
Water is necessary when using the pressure cooker function or some form of liquid, which in this case I went with 1/2 cup of water. This was plenty for our multi-cooker.
The meatballs will be placed in the pot of the Ninja Foodi in a frozen state, then they warm up. Remember this is done using fully cooked and frozen meatballs.
It’s a must to be sure yours are fully cooked in order to use this recipe.
The combination of grape jelly and chili sauce gives them a sweet and savory profile, so also use the ingredients as indicated.
How should you serve these?
If you are serving these at a party, you can simply leave them in the pot or place toothpicks with them and plate them to serve as cocktail meatballs.
They can also easily be served as a meal paired with Ninja Foodi Mashed Potatoes and green vegetables.
Enjoy!
