Make a tasty dinner with this Ninja Foodi Egg Roll in a Bowl, it’s ready in minutes and features a delicious savory flavor!
I’m sure you’ve learned now that I absolutely love the Ninja Foodi! Of course, don’t worry because this meal can easily be made in your Instant Pot or right in a skillet on the stove too. It’s just easier overall to make it in either a Ninja Foodi or Instant Pot.
This is the perfect Ninja Foodi recipe!
Do you have to use soy sauce for Egg Roll in a Bowl?
I have actually started to replace soy sauce with Coconut Aminos. This is a soy-free alternative to a classic soy sauce, it’s also nearly 1/2 the amount of sodium that you would find in soy sauce.
It still has the same great flavor but it does not have as salty of a taste as your traditional soy sauce would have. I’m actually preferring it over traditional soy sauce. The best part for me is that it’s gluten-free too. It also goes a long way, it seems to take less of it to flavor a dish than soy sauce does.
What protein should you use for Egg Roll in a Bowl?
I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs for this dish. I cut them up into small chunks and then using the saute function in the Ninja Foodi, I cooked them right in the pot of the Ninja Foodi. Once they were done, you can simply add in the remaining ingredients and saute until it’s all nice and done.
This can also be made with ground turkey or sausage too. We opted for chicken this time and actually I think it was my favorite of the choices at this point.
I do suggest chicken thighs as they do not dry out as easily as chicken breast would.
How do you make Ninja Foodi Egg Roll in a Bowl?
This is so easy to make, start by cutting the chicken into chunks and adding it to the pot of the Ninja Foodi. I do like to add just a smidge of olive oil to cook it in.
Once the chicken is done, add in the coleslaw and coconut aminos, plus a dash of ginger. This will simmer for about 5 minutes and dinner is ready!
It’s an easy, quick, low-carb recipe that is perfectly made in the Ninja Foodi or Instant Pot. It’s a great one-dish meal too without having to make too much mess!

What size is your “1 Package Coleslaw”? I tend to shop Sam’s Club & Costco & can’t imagine using all that in a recipe that serves 4:)
It’s 14-16oz, I usually by it at Walmart but I’ve seen them range in size from 14-16oz. I’d imagine the ones there probably do double that.
So what is the procedure in an Insta Pot???
It would be done the same way, just use saute function on the Instant Pot.
