If there is one thing I am certain my husband loves it’s steak, so today in honor of Father’s Day next week I’m sharing these Mushroom Topped Steaks from The Kansas City Steak Company. The best part is that I’m also giving away a case of steaks too! This giveaway is sponsored by Kansas City Steak Company; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve mentioned it before but one of the best things my husband and I enjoy is simply sitting out on our back patio watching the kids play while enjoying our dinner. We love to use the grill and especially for steaks and veggies. When we grill steaks, we go all out with the veggies too and grill them all. I love foil wrapping veggies with a little olive oil and garlic salt then grilling them up!
This past week we went on vacation to Gulf Shores and the day after we got back, we were ready to just sit back and relax. Do you ever feel like you need a vacation from vacation? I think all vacations should come with at least 5 days of recoup time, don’t you think? I mean the day after we got back we had piles of laundry to do and a yard to get back in shape. So much to do and so little time when Monday rolls around and it’s back to the grind.
So after that long day, it was only necessary to enjoy our The Kansas City Steak Company steaks. We decided to invite my parents over too because they did an amazing job taking care of our home while we were gone. We were all devouring the steak because each bit was so tender and juicy. They literally were melt in your mouth good.
Is your mouth watering yet? Mine is! I’m ready for more!
Right now you can head over to order your steaks and use the code, LUVDAD for 15% off, this is good through December 31, 2016!
First though, let’s win a pack of steaks. I’m giving away a 4 Pack of 6oz Filets just for the dad in your life. It’s easy to win! Good luck!

LOVE steaks!!! I dont tolerate mushrooms but the pineapple looks mighty tasty! We try to limit our red meat intake, but twice a month we splurge on a grassfed, lettuce wrapped beef burger and a steak. I’ve also always been interested in the steak boxes and subscription services because I’ve heard they are amazing quality. I will enter the giveaway now! Thanks for hosting!

I don’t eat red meat that often, but when I am craving a Steak, I want a big juicy one! I like to let my marinade my steaks over night in seasonings than I grill them or broil in the oven them, depending on my mood and weather. I have never had grilled pineapple slices, but I am really going to try some for myself.

People cringe when I say I like mine well-done. I like the outside burnt. I have come to be alright with a little red inside. I use meat tenderizer for several hours, then a shaker seasoning before grilling.

If possible, I grill them outdoors on a gas grill. If I have to do it indoors, I use a good heavy, cast iron skillet so the steak gets a good sear.
