Do you have a morning routine? I know I make a point to be sure to get up a little bit earlier than the kids just so that I can have a few seconds to myself. I need those seconds. I am a grumpy person in the morning. I’m not kidding, if I’m woken up unexpectedly by someone other than my alarm, it usually isn’t pretty!
I take those few seconds to enjoy a cup of tea and to fill out our message board at our house. I saw an idea on Pinterest last year to make an “I Love You Because…” board with a frame and a piece of paper that you can use an erasable marker and write on it each day. My husband and I used to be really good at keeping it up until the baby came along. Then, life got a bit more chaotic and we just did not have time to keep it up!
Lately though we have it up again in our kitchen on the table so that we see it every day and can write notes to each other!
One of my favorite things to do in the morning sip a cup of Bigelow Tea and read the note my husband left or write one for him.
This past week, I headed out to Walmart to pick up some more Bigelow Tea and then I was greeted with a brand new look! Bigelow Tea can be found at Walmart for just over $2.00 a box and now they are featuring a more contemporary, sleek look. I absolutely love the new packaging it brings it more into my generation if that makes sense. The boxes originally reminded me of my grandma drinking her Bigelow Tea and now it is more of a simplistic style.
Green Tea is my go to tea this time of year during cold and flu season, it is wonderful with a touch of honey! They even have a lemon variety too that I love.
I also like to pick up a variety pack of herbal tea because I can never decide which one I may want! I wrote more on Herbal Teas here along with the benefits of them.
This particular morning I enjoyed one of my fall favorites, Vanilla Chai. I actually love to mix it in with a bit of milk and ice it sometimes too! This time though I enjoyed it warmed with water and a cinnamon stick for an extra boost of spice!
I am strongly brand loyal to Bigelow for a variety of reasons. One of which is that I was able to go on a trip and meet the Bigelow’s along with a crash course in tea education. I will say that they are a company that is born and bred, tea! They know quality and they expect their brand to be the best and it is. I would challenge you next time you have your friends over to do a tea tasting.
All you need to do is purchase several brands of the same flavor of tea then taste little sips of each in comparison to Bigelow. When we did this, the Bigelow Tea was hands down the best tea! There was no comparison, it is just that good!
My mornings start with little love notes and Bigelow Tea! How do you start your mornings?
Share it with us and be sure to follow along on Twitter at #AmericasTea! They also have a blog too, head over to the Bigelow Tea Blog!
Happy Saturday Morning!

Sweet… I love that idea!
Oh Kristy I love the Love Note board. How great a wedding gift that would be. I might steal the idea to give as wedding gifts from now on. And, of course, I love Bigelow Tea!!
Love the love note idea! So sweet!
I adore the idea of writing notes to one another. The fact that you can drink Bigelow tea as you do it…mmmm…all the better!
that is such a great idea! Btw I love chai too!
I love your wipe-off board idea…I totally need to make something like that. And pairing this “me time” with it and a cup of Bigelow Tea sounds perfect. #client
