Just in time for summer, the Noddy Toyland Detective – Let’s Investigate app is a great way for the kids to have some downtime. This post is sponsored by Mom Select, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I don’t know about you, but this summer has been a bit of a whirlwind for us full of activity each day. This past week, I’ve tried to do some active days with some days at home and a little bit of downtime for the kids. During that time, we’ve given them some screen time too for a bit but I’m pretty picky with the apps they use on their tablets and my phone. This past week, we were introduced to the Noddy Toyland Detective – Let’s Investigate App.
This app is based off the popular TV Series; however, it now allows you to interact with the characters. As you play, you will uncover clues to solve a mystery and along the way there are activities to do too. These include painting the car, building, and doing puzzles too. The puzzles are a favorite for my daughter, I love to watch her work them out. There is even an information for parents section so that you can be sure that your child is only on the game for a specific length of time and get help and advice about playing the game with your child too. I love that you can set time limits with this app.
A few other things you can do too is create a personalized story book and build several learning skills. This particular game is created by Kuato Studios in partnership with DreamWorks to create the best experience for your child.
This app is perfect for kids 5 and under; however, my son who is 8 liked it too, so there is a bit of range there. I really enjoyed that my daughter could learn patterns and sequences and problem solving with it. She’s just about to start Pre-K this fall so these are great skills for her to be working on this summer.
The app is available in Google Play or iTunes now, it does cost $2.99, but from what I’ve found my kids are enjoying it enough to make it worth it for us. Right now though, you have a chance to win a $25 iTunes gift card so that you can purchase it for FREE!
What apps do your kids love? I’d love to hear about more to try!
Happy Playing Time!
